That was a key question at this year’s IAOCR Industry Leaders Think Tank in Farnborough, UK – where SCOPE was proud to be represented by Lindsay.
Discussions ranged from inclusive trial design to decentralised models, all with a focus on making research more accessible – across ethnicity, culture, socio-economic status, mobility, age, and gender.
We reconnected with valued partners like our CI Martin Johnson and PI Dr Khaled Ahmed, and exchanged ideas with regulators, researchers, and CROs from around the world. 🌍
There were also great networking moments with secondary care site directors involved in the UK NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research)’s upcoming Commercial Research Delivery Centres (CRDCs) – a new initiative supporting commercial clinical trials with a strong focus on participant recruitment and retention.
Thanks to IAOCR - International Accrediting Organization for Clinical Research and SyneosHealth for hosting such a forward-thinking event!
